If it's an OPEN show the judge should be scoring the horses againist the standard for their breed. Then tie them in order of their scores.

    P.S. She is gorgeous!

Good luck, and let us know how you do!

    Thanks guys : )

I took her to the show to school her on the 10th-12th. When I show her, it's going to be the same show at the same place with the same people. And, well... they were basically all paints. Some were more TB-type and some were chunky little ponies, and there was ONE Saddlebred - although he didn't show in halter.

The show will be October 9th and 10th

Clouds Mystique... A small group of us showed our Peruvians at an all western show, {Mostley Quarter Horses} earlier this summer. It was a small show too. We had a good time! The judges were very fair and several of us even took some 1st's!, which surprised us because we weren't expecting anything! We used all our Peruvian tack and show outfits, except for me. I wore a more western looking outfit so people could realize the diversity of the Peruvian Horse. Even the announcer gave us a nice shout out and thanked us for coming! I was very surprised because its hard to show a gaited horse with Quarter Horse people! Show your pretty horse in all her gaited glory!!! You will notice a few people might be a bit standoffish towards you, but just be nice and most of all have FUN!!! Good luck!
