This is a forum, your supposed to discuss opinions. You'v been here long enough to understand that I'm sure. No one is shoving anything down anyones throat. The only person getting upset here is you.

You will be hard pressed to find people in the QH world looking back. Because its pretty **** near impossible to trot a straight line while looking back. Plus is looks sloppy. Certainly there is no rule about it. Just like there is no rule about having a fake tail in, but you will never see a person at a breed show without one. There are plenty of un-spoken rules in all aspects of the horse world. This happens to be one of them.

I'm going to stop now because it's at the point of arguing about each other's opinions, and we're not in elementary school anymore... If you want to post facts, like the rule book, awesome.. but don't try to shove your opinion down my throat.. I have plenty of my own.
The judging manual isn't good enough for you? You know, the thing they give to judges telling them what they should and should not be looking for?

But feel free to keep getting upset over the opinions outlined by AQHA.

There is no need to be snarky, go appendix, you are coming across as condescending and quite rude. Please watch the tone of your posts, because people will get offended and lose sight of your original message, which was a good one in that show rules evolve... you raised my awareness of some changes in presentation, so I am interested in watching closely at the upcoming shows to see APHA is making those changes as well.

Back to the original poster, I hope your show goes well... good luck

I am fine with the tone of my posts. It isn't really my problem if people decide to get offended.

What you both fail to realize is that I'm not even a fraction of upset..It takes a LOT more to offend me and neither one of you are quite at that level yet. Sorry to disappoint you but hurting my feelings is a little out of your league..

Oh man someone is feisty! No need for that, from either of you. This is a forum where opinions are discussed. Sorry that you don't agree with what is being said or what is going on at all the breed shows. But looking back is seen as "4h level" these days.

You can look back all you want in your showmanship patterns with a smile on your face. It doesn't bother us none.

Laugh..Cool story bro...Showmanship is a bit too slow paced for me, I stopped showing in the pleasure events years ago. If need be I'll head to a breed show, slather on some hot pink lipstick and fake earrings..I'll trot a curvy line while looking back and may even wink at the judge...See what they think about that? Place me or not, they'll probably laugh and will surely remember me.

I really don't see why your being so snarky. There is no need for it at all. Just because you don't show pleasure or all around events doesn't mean you need to be rude about it.

I highly doubt they will laugh, they will probably be insulted that you wasted their time. If they do laugh, its because you wasted your money on a crappy run.

I'm not being snarky and I'm not being rude about it, I just know what that "world" is like, with the "unspoken" rules and such.. I'd rather be judged by the time clock than some of the political judges that play favorites.
