Talking *Epic Fail!* lol

My first barrel race of this year was an epic fail. My aunt raised my stirrups ten minutes before my run , so I went in there, had a perfect first barrel, lost my right stirrup heading for second, and I had to pull my horse off of second because I lost my left stirrup and was about to fall off. lol Either way, my horse was amazing! Has this ever happened to any of you barrel racers?

I've lost them before in barrels, but luckily I have a great seat from all the bareback riding I do, so I just ride without 'em.

I lose a stirrup almost every run. It might add a half a second or so to my time but I have a good seat and can usually just keep riding.
