Talking 3 thirds & a second....

Well as some of you already know this weekend was a pony club show jumping comp, That Buddy & I, along with Wild_Spot went to. I was so proud of my lil boy! He went so well. It was really cold, wet & muddy but given the time we had to do the course in & the conditions i think we did fantastic! On Saturday, the first course we did, jump number 5 was so so so very slippery. We slid on the approach at a slow canter up to that one. almost went through. (my thoughts were oh boy this is bad....) but to my complete surprise Buddy picked up his front legs just at the right time, lent back on his hind end & bounded over it, Clearing it with ease. I was so happy. But that round was by far my scaryest lol, i went blank & couldn't think of a song to sing besides ABC.... so... our course went somthing like this... .A....B....C...D... one two three.... UP.... E....F...G....h....i... one two three....UP... GOOD BOY GOOD BOY COME ON....STEADY.... j....k....l....m....n...o... One two three.... UP... Great job come on good boy!.....p...q...r....x....one two three &.... UP.. etc. lol it was very funny.

We ended up coming home with 3 thirds & one second & moved up a grade in two days, IM very please with how buddy went!
