Body modifications and showing

Hello everyone, I was thinking about showing and I was wondering if body modifications are accepted? Are facial piercings accepted or should they be removed or would the judges even notice? What about spacers? I know a lot of people have issues with those and they can be a bit more obvious. Sorry if this is a stupid question, it just dawned on me today so I thought I'd ask. Thanks! :)

I have two facial piercings, and I always take them out completely. It's really disrespectful to the judge to have them in.

I think with the uniform that comes with showing horses, it would be best to remove the peircings. While I also have tattoos and had my lip pierced, it doesn't look professional. :)

I agree it doesn't look professional, I guess it's the same as having a job. I was more concerned with the spacers, can't exactly take them out and hiders can still be obvious. Guess I won't be spacing my ears any bigger any time soon!
