Dressage results for Reeco's 2nd ever pony party.

Well Reeco and I popped out to a local dressage competition today.

We have been working hard recently and on tuesday had a clinic with Julie Templeton (leading UK producer of childrens show ponies). We decided to put into practice what julie taught us and out we went.

I was very very brave and pushed him forwards (despite feeling like I was taking my life in my hands) and he did an absolutly stunning little test, his walk on a long rein was a bit of a shuffle (unfortunatly it was worth double marks!) but all his trot work was beautiful and he was actualy in the mood to bend correctly this time!

Well we came away with a red rosette (1st to those not in the UK) and a score of 69.1% (a massive 10% increase from his last test) lots and lots of 7's and 8's all over his score sheet.

Very happy with my little pony.

Photos will follow as soon as they have been developed (the camera had this strange thing called film)

RIDE your horse FORWARDS and keep him STRAIGHT

That's impressive! Congratulations. It is always gratifying to be confirmed in the correctness of your horse's training.
