First event ever and.....

We got a 2nd place trophy!! Bambi and I won 2nd in the horses category in the Christmas parade! This is the first event we've ever done together and she did so well. I'm just so incredibly proud and happy right now! I've never won a contest in my life and I won this. And I have the trophy to prove it.

Just can't believe it! This weekend started awfully, as my gerbil passed away, but this is the best ending I could think of! Mostly because I wasn't expecting to rank at all. The thought never crossed my mind. I was just out to have fun and pursue a childhood dream I've had for 4 years. And then they called out, "The 2nd place trophy in the horse category goes to number 70, Natalie B. On Bambi!". And everyone started clapping......Man, it was just so amazing! I'm trying not to sound like I'm bragging, but, man, am I happy!
