First recognized show.. soon! Let's see some tips :)

Hi everyone! I'm beyond excited as I've got my first recognized show with the mare I have been riding for the past two years, Wren! I would like as many tips as possible from what to bring, what to wear, and best ways to make Wren stand out. We will be showing in opportunity hunter and eq classes.

Info on Wren: She's a 15.3 thoroughbred (3/4) Percheron (1/4). Chestnut, two white socks, and a blaze. She's been my project horse now for two years. Her 'project' issues were, bolting, spooking at EVERYTHING, and getting very strong in the bridle. However, in the past few months she has made a phenomenal turn around after having time off. At home, we jump 2'3" courses but haven't ventured any higher than that because she isn't in shape enough. However, when she was in shape she jumped 3ft+ constantly. I've been told by my trainer that she gets quite excited at shows, so I'm very prepared for her to try and pull some old tricks. But I'm not showing for me, I am showing for her. I owe it to her after everything she's done for me :)

Now, I've got pretty much everything set out for Wren. But I do have a few questions.
1. When I do my equitation walk/trot/canter class, should I canter in a half seat or full?
2. If I am showing around 8:15am, what time should I start hand-walking her around the farm, and what time should I start warmup?
3. Will this helmet be acceptable since I am only doing opportunity classes? http://cache-images.pronto.com/thumb...0&bgcol=FFFFFF
4. Best ways to chill out a horse before showing?

Thank you all so much, I'm excited to see the responses! :)

Ok this is just my general opinion ok?
1 full seat specially if she gets excited in shows, but you are the one who knows her you know how she works better.
2 I ve learned that horses react diferently in the warming area what do I wanna mean, well I do show jumping, my courrent horse TB he doesent like to wam up a lot so I just walk him like 1i min (in hand) then I trot a couple of round each hand in the paddock and canter 3 laps each hand 4 jumps and ready to go. If I warm up a lot he gets bored and start rearing and fooling arround and doesent do properly in the jumps. But I has other sho had to warm up like 20-30 mins and they do better as they warm up. So if your trainer used to show her I suggest you ask her how does she used to warm up with her.
3 that healmet seems to be fine

I hope this helps at least a little and wish you the best of lucks
