I don't know if any of you remember my mishap show in March but it was a DISASTER. Lindy was a hott mess and it was really frustrating.
Anyway, here is the update from two weeks ago (finally got the pics pulled up)
I took Lindy too her first AQHA show two weekends ago. She behaved and was such a good girl. I was soo proud of her and soo proud to own a beautiful talented horse like herself. I took her in Novice Amateur Western Pleasure and Novice Amateur Horsemanship just to get our feet wet. We placed 8th out of 15 in pleasure and 6th out of 16 in horsemanship (I had a little mistake or I would have gotten higher placing ugh :/ ) But, over all for our first show I was pleased. I at least got acknowledged by the judges. I am looking forward to our next show and have even higher hopes for better placings! Since our last show was just terrible as far as her behavior (had a lotttt going on at the show ) I was just really making my goal this time for her to be relaxed and happy. Doesn't she look gorgeous?!
Horsemanship: hence why reins are shorter/head is higher
