Made my entery money back at Fair! woot!

So I entered into four fence classes and four flat classes. Cost me $6.99/class and this is what you won for each placing:
Ribbons 1st-6th
1st - $45.00
2nd - $35.00
3rd - $25.00
4th - $15.00
5th - $10.00
6th - $5.00

Here are our placings:
Hunter Hack 2'3" 1st out of 7
(I am REALLY starting to think this is his golden class because he won State Champion Open Hunter Hack in 08 and this year he has won 8 of the 9 Hunter Hack Classes we have entered. The one he didn't win he got 2nd in out of about 8) I was shocked we got first because I did not expect to place in anything.
Hunters 2'3" 2nd out of 7 (not sure what lost me first BUT not complaining lol.
Hunters 2'6" 5th out of 7 (Judge said he looked like he was a little speedy, but the chick who knocked down a fence got first... can someone explain that to me? not that I am complaining hell like I said I didn't think I would place but that confused me a little.)
Jumpers 2'6" 4th out of 5 (knocked down a rail >.<)
Jumpers 3' 1st out of 5 (bear in mind this was our first time jumping a 3' course at a show! I was so estatic we had the ONLY clear round I almost started crying. I know I am pathetic but it means a lot to win something like this on a horse you trained. It also added up since we were the only jumping paints! haha)
English Pleasure Color 3rd out of 5 (I should have been 4th but the girl (a friend of mine) who should have won the class; horse was stung by a bee so he bloted off, still not to shabby)
English Pleasure Open Did not place out of 19 (Not unexpected like I have said before D is not the flashyest mover, I can cover up his trot but there isn't a whole lot I can do with his canter.
English EQ Open 6th out of 19 (I wont lie at first I was pissed because we broke gait in our pattern and all I can think is because of how close the cones were he broke due to lazyness, I should have kept my leg on him but I looked back and said "Dude... Shut up there were 18 people in that class... You could have NOT placed. So I got over it! LOL)
English Pleaser Stock Type Another no placer out of 14 (said issues his movement)

Total money spent to enter: $60.00
Total Money Made back in winnings: $135.00 hehe so my favorite class of the day was the 3' Jumper class AND the Eq class. I will look up pics and possible video asap I am so excited we did so well in Jumping since that is my true passion, I can't wait to start Grand Prix lol I just need the money .

Nice! I believe the horse show at our State Fair does the same thing so I am looking forward to that. How nice to get a check back, instead of signing your life away on one for them. Congrats on doing such a good job!

Gotta love winning back money!!!! Congrats!!!

It's not the will to win, but the will to prepare to win that makes the difference.
