    Points question

    Hi all,
I recently purchased a QH mare for my Daughter, who has joined 4 H and plans to show this coming summer. I was told the horse already has points, what does that mean? We only plan on doing 4H and local kinds of shows, just for fun and family activity, will these points be something she will need to keep track of ? I don't mean to sound dumb, I've been involved with horses my whole life, but not in the showing end. My Daughter would also like to research her pedigree, we have her registration papers, but she is having trouble trying to find info online, is there a good site to use? Any help would be appreciated. P.S. The pic in the avatar is not her, that is our gelding Cash, we rescued him from a hackline where he was underweight and lame, but being ridden(hobbling all the way) on 5-6 trails daily.

Go to www.aqha.com for more information. If you are an AQHA member, you are giving "free" money to do online searches for show records and pedigree information. Make sure you transfer the registration papers over to your name.
