Reeco's 2nd ridden show

Took Reeco to the show yesterday. Reeco got 2nd in the inhand and I got told he needed more weight on him

Then we did the ridden, it was hot and Reeco just wanted to sleep so I had a hell of a time getting him to go forwards.
He was not the judges cup of tea obviously so we didnt do very well there but he behaved beautifully all day so i'm happy.
Please excuse my crappy position I am working on it.

More weight? He looks great to me. He's very handsome!

How tall is he? Just curious, because the chestnut behind him in the last photo looks HUGE.

Great pics, and I don't think your horse needs to gain weight. It's just one person's opinion for one day, as long as you enjoyed the show, there will be other judges with different opinions.

Thanks, I wont intentionaly be putting any more weight on him, however he has just moved to his summer grazing (which is very green and lush) so it may be that he puts on a lot of weight!
