Super duper Reeco's 3rd show

Reeco Truely excelled himself today!! I'm so pleased with him.

We get 1st in the inhand coloureds and then went inhand champion.

Then I warmed him up and he did the ridden coloured. Very strong class with 11 in it, 1 of whom had been to HOYS.
He went realy well and he was placed 1st!!!

He then did the 4,5 and 6yr old class, unfortunatly he wrong legged it in his show, however he was still placed 2nd!!!

See? Told you that judge from the other show was wrong! Nice job, good to have your hard work affirmed by another's opinion.

Thanks everyone. I know we are far from perfect at the moment, I need to trust him a bit more and let go of his front end a bit, however on this perticular pony, with his previous issues and the amount of times he has gone out from under me (sometimes leading to some nasty injuries for me) it takes a lot of courage to let go of him. I'm working on it and getting there.

3 weeks untill his next show, which will be his 1st major show, its also his first overnight show. Its going to take us the best part of 4.5hrs in the lorry to get there and we have to stay over in temporary stabling (his class goes in at 8am so I'm not driving down that morning). Hopefully in the next 3 weeks I can sort my trust issues out!
