Will I be counted down in a 4-H show for a red ribbon in the tail?
I will most likely be getting a horse who kicks(or at least showing it a few times) I show mainly 4-H and small schooling shows. Will I get faulted or DQed for having a red ribbon in the horse's tail?
Also why are a lot of people so stupid? I keep at least a horse length between me and the competitor ahead. If I get much closer then that I ether pass or slow down a little. I have had people ride right up behind my horse and stop nose to tail with mine, it annoys me. I have also had people(not kids, adults) run very close to my horse's butt. I even remember the kids who tried to use my horse as a "safe spot" for tag. Why don't they realize that any horse can kick, rear, spook, strike, buck, bite, whatever!?! Just because a horse isn't labeled "kicker"(or biter, spooky, bucker, etc) doesn't mean they won't!
