Argh! To find a boarding stable that fits! When I first moved herein September, I found a stable that was close, but they were heinous. Their care of the horses was abysmal at best.
So I moved Carolina to a dressage barn. Only problem is it's an hour away and kinda expensive for what it offers. The trainer is very lovely but there are some basic things that we really disagree on. No big deal. I can't justify the boarding fee PLUS the gas money to get out there.
I found a boarding stable right behind our subdivision. It's going to cost me $300 for both the horses to have full care. But there's just an indoor arena. So it's still not combined training or even just hunter/jumper.
However - in the spring, the combined training barn that I absolutely positively have to move to (it's my dream barn) will have space.
I'm trying to justify the moves. Having the girls at the barn right behind us until Spring. Does that sound so terrible??? |
