When I was 10 I went to the Aztec Boys and Girls club to participate in the H.O.R.S.E. Program.
I was assigned to the LARGEST horse, a TB named Forest. He was a huge chesnut gelding, sweetest horse I've ever ridden.
I remember my first time on him he started trotting off and I thought that he was the fastest horse alive.
By the end of the week long clinic I was in love with him, but then I found out that he had a rare foot disease that was very expensive to fix and the owners did not have the money.
One of the other students from the Clinic, a girl named Jasmine bought him and the last that I heard about him he had gone into surgery and it had been successful so far. . .
That was 7 years ago, and now I have 4 horses of my own, but I can't stop thinking about forest.
