This is about a 12 year old girl named,sarah edward she and lives in montana and always having a fun and exausting day starting at 9-whatever time at night. They own i nice ranch and are with horses 24/7. Every now and then they would find a few wild animals running around, but when they find a sound of a animal echoeing off in the distance that is ver recognizing. Then it was a start of a new beggining. Probally adding more to the intro. HOPE YOU ENJOY!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~~
The stupid alarm clock beeped and beeped finally i was awake enough to lift my hand and shut it off. After 15 minutes i got out of bed and put my usuall attire on paddock boots,chaps, jeans, shortsleeve polo and a sweatshirt. Then i had my usuall breakfast scrambled eggs, backon, and waffles or pancakes. { my mom believed that we needed a big hardy breakfast to start a tiring day} After a 20 minute breakfast i hopped out the door and into the wooden barn. My brother brandon, was cleaning a stall and my dad was sweeping. ofcourse i had my daily chores,
1.clean 5 stalls
2. bla bla bla
I hated chores and i realy did not want to list them. So i started cleaning one of the stalls.after 2 hours i was done with my first 4 and only had one more left. I had to wake my sister, megan because she sleeps till 11-12 noon. That is why i get 5 dollars a week because i do not just do my chores i do alot more. After waking meg i ran to the barn and decided to ride. i tacked one of my favorite horses, dusky. dusky is a five year old dutch warmblood. after putting the bridle on i grabbed the weaved lead and lead her out to a paddock with green grass as bright as limes. I took her over to the mounting block and hopped on. As i was walking around i looked over the landscape. It looked like the mountains were from a painted picture. I started trotting and then i heard a horse but not from the barn or any of the paddocks,it was off in the distance. wild? maybe it is a possability. There are wild horses here not as many as back then but there are still some. i got off dusky and let her run of course the sturrips were not hanging,nor the riens swaying. i opened the gate and locked it back up as fast as i could i ran into the barn and got my father. "dad i heard a horse but not from our barn, off in the distance. can we please see if we can get it??????" {we have tamed wild horses before} "ofcourse" he exclaimed. he got his pick up truck and wen down the dirt road to where the neigh was heard from. after a few miles, i heard the horse again. the sound echoed through the mountains. Then off in the distance a shape of a horse caught my eye. "there she is"with excitement we pulled over to the side of the rode and started approaching.Then we stopped she started to move. But she wasn't running away or anything. She was coming to us. We stood still as she approached. Then out of no where she neighed and another horse came out but this time it was alot smaller. It was a foal. then the little one, skipped over. Now close enough to sniff us they stood still with ears up. I started to reach a hand out, "what are you doing!?" my dad belched in a whisper. dad, it is ok they trust me and i trust them."how do you know? we just met them" in his accent.I know dad, i know. I slowly approached my hand under the mother's nose. She sniffed and then bent her head down. I petted her slightly then she lifted her head at my dad in a look like come-on-seriously-trust-me. Dad she wants you to pet her. "What!?, how do you know this?" i ...i...i...i... she told me,as i sputtered like crazy. waiting for a reaction he just said a simple oh and let his hand out. she did the same and he petted her. dad, can we keep them? i asked nervously. "yes, i guess so" THANKYOU sooo much dad. The foal was a few inches behind her mother,but then she approached and she trusted me. my dad unhooked a halter that was in the trailer and slowly put it on her. she nighed and backed away. my dad backed off and said,"if we can not get them in the trailer then we can not keep them" let me try, so i grabbed the halter and attempted to put it on her,she didn't even move her head.i buckled it up and lead her to the trailer. she went in and was fine. the foal just followed and went into the other side. my dad smiled at me and hopped in the drivers seat then i hopped in a the passenger seat and said ," this is going to be the start of a new beggining." as my dad nodded he said " yes it is."
I hope you liked it!
