Poem

This is a poem I wrote a few yrs ago when we bought our home. The horse I owned, but gave to a friend. But it has a horse in it...lol
This is about little girls dreams,,,then reality, which for me, is a perfect dream. Note, read it slowly, you will feel it better.

The Dream

Horses, carraiges and pretty pink bows
Kittens, doggies and paint on my toes
A handsome Prince for me to marry,
Our beautiful children I will carry
Time will be still and life will be grand
With a cute little house and a piece of land
A couple together we will live, the dream

My horse is abused, him I must train
No carriages to ride, my truck I must take
The pink pretty bows go well with blue jeans
The kittens a stray and is loved to this day
The dogs old and young are the best by far
Leave them oh no, by truck or by car
My handsome Prince has come my way, first a
Frog then a kiss but oh what the hey
The children are grown from previous marries
But I love being free and oh how life varies
Time ticks on like moving sand
With a triple wide moble and a piece of land
An old loving couple together, the dream.
