5 Star Equine - Mohair Y Cinch

Has anyone ever used the Mohair Y cinch made by 5 Star Equine? I'd like to get the roper style version for my Arab mare, seems like it would work well with her shorter back/rib cage.

I haven't seen any testimonials about them online, would like to know how people like them before I spend that kind of cash.

I love mohair girths. IMHO they are worth the money I have had one for ten years it is still in great condition.

Seems like a gimmick to me. Why not just completely forego the back cinch and make sure your saddle fits. If the saddle fits, then the front cinch should be plenty if you're not roping.

Always remember that feeling of looking at a big, open country over the ears of a good horse, seeing a new trail unwind ahead of you, and that ever-spectacular view from the top of the ridge!!! Follow my training blog: http://robertsontraining.blogspot.com/

My saddle fits, I've just always ridden with a back cinch. It's never actually tight.

Just thought it seemed like a cool idea, but I'm also OK with not spending $200 on something that won't be an improvement over my current tack.
