Abetta People!

Alrighty, after my many posts about which brand/type of saddle I am going to get, I have decided on the lovely Abetta.

I have been looking through stores like crazy, but there are SOO many types! I have no idea which one to get!

I will be using it for barrel racing and trail, and I could careless if it has color on it or not, because I "color coordinate" my horses.

Trail and Pleasure Saddles Western HorseLoverZ.com
^ So there are about 2 or 3 pages worth of Abettas on there, and I need to know which one is probably the best for a 14 year old looking to start barrel racing on it. I am not big on square skirts, but I noticed that some of the square skirts are barrel saddles, so that confuses me even more.

So, please tell me which one you like best, and if you wish, why you like it the most.

Also, if you know any other place on the internet that is selling them cheaper, PLEASE let me know. =]

Thanks.

ABETTA Cordura Round Skirt Saddle Trail and Pleasure Saddles Western HorseLoverZ.com

This is the one I have. I use it for Trails and barrels, etc. I love this saddle! All I do is use diff. color vet wrap on the stirrups and it goes with all my horses! I also haven't had a problem with it fitting any horses

Thanks for sharing jxclass19! I was really considering that one, mainly because of the price!

But, I still am just not sure.

TN,

I guess I should have explained why ,

The Abetta is only made in a Wide Tree for the 15", 16" and 17" Seats.

- Re-Phase this, Semi QH is made in 13-17" with 4" Cantle, Wide QH is not available in 13" or 14" -

Another Thing, a Wide Tree in a 15" Has a 5" Tall Cantle which is better for Barrel Racing helps keep you in the Seat.

May all your Trails be happy and safe ones

Kevin

I have the same one JXClass has. In fact, I have two. One that fits me, and one that fits hubby and my friend who uses it. I've had mine for many years (over ten) and I still LOVE it :)
I do need a wider tree (mine's not a wide tree) for one of my ponies, so I'm going to eventually get him an Abetta as well, but will be getting the Trinity/Serenity endurance one for him since it's just for trail riding (I'm an english rider who uses western for trail) and it was highly recomended by my friend who does endurance.
But for you, I'd go with the one posted by jxclass :)

I like this site:
Abetta Saddles, Horse Tack, Supplements, Ranch and Horse Equipment and Stable Supplies. Largest Abetta Saddle Dealer in the USA.

I don't know about the other models, but they have the best price I've found on the Serenity saddle.
