Yes, red and black look very nice on her!

Hey, just a suggestion (feel free to take it or leave it), but those stirrup fenders should actually slide around on the tree (might take some tugging), so you should be able to slide them downward a bit to give you extra sweat protection on your legs. Do you know what I mean? So the fender is covering your leg more and keeping your pants from getting sweaty.

Lookin' good! Congrats on the new tack!

Thanks guys!! I love the red and black on her

I bought the saddle used and was not aware that you could do that, I just went out to the garage and pulled them down, thanks so much for the advice. My girlfriend just got a new saddle and on the fenders there is a piece of leather that ties the fenders together just above the stirrups. Does anyone know what this is called? I want to buy some new ones for my saddle. Thanks!

Here's a picture to help understand what I'm talking about, that on the fender just above the stirrup, anyone know where I can order black ones?

Fender keeper??? Haha. I know the ones you mean but have NO clue what they are called. I would just try the tack store first again and see if they have them, if not, take it to a leather store. They might be able to make you one.

I'm thinking if I can just get a strip of black leather from somewhere I can easily make them, I found them, but only in nylon. I guess they're called tie straps, pretty original...I know!

The saddle doesn't look like it fits him. It looks like it goes down too far.

The gullet...by the horn..it looks like there isn't that much clearance.
It might be the pictures. You don't want it to be too narrow cause it will pinch them and hurt them..the saddle will usually roll or slide back as well and if it's too big it will sit down on the withers and eventually cause bruising and sometimes they will have an attitude problem which will affect him while riding.

I've had this problem in the past and just thought I would point that out.
