I'm planning on picking up a used Stubben Dressage bridle this week for $130. It come with reins and flash, and is in good condition, well cared for. I know it retails for around $300. The only reason I hesitate is a couple of years ago I bought a never used Stubben bridle for $75, I don't think the seller had any idea what he had, as he was a mostly western rider. Maybe I'm just spoiled from my previous good deal...

I would pay $130 for a used Stubben bridle that was in excellent condition, almost new. I wouldn't want to see any stitching out of place, no hairline cracks in the leather, no roughed up leather, etc.

You can get a new Bobby's Dressage bridle in the $140-200 range and their quality is, IMO, as nice or even nicer than Stubben's bridlework.

I ended up buying it. Turns out it hadn't EVER been used. She bought it for her old horse, and sold the horse before she used it. So I ended up getting about $200 off a new Stubben. I'm pretty happy with that haha
