another bell boot question...

The ones I got are size medium....but to me they seem too big.

I know how they go on, but they seem way to loose around Sonny's pastern. Are they supposed to be really loose? Or are they supposed to be tight?

Anyone have any pictures what a good fitting bell boot should look like, and ones that are too loose or too tight. Thanks

I don't have time to copy and past photos for you but if you go take a look online, you will find multiple photos of bell boots fitted properly.

They aren't supposed to bounce around when you ride him, that would obviously be a sign of bell boots that are too big. They should be easy to put on, not too tight. Also they can't be so long they are stepping on them with their heels.

Mediums work on most of my horses being medium is for the average horse. If they don't fit correctly check the store where you bought them on their return policy to see if you could try a different size.
