Post Any good Western saddles out there?

Hi! I have 2 horses.
Raven, my 18 year old QH who tends to be spiteful and stubborn. He has nevicular disease, so he is on supplement. He is usually pretty round.
Karmalita, my somewhere-in-her-teens paso-appoloso. She can be pretty spooky, but she is missing an eye. She is actually a great horse to ride - smooth and fast. She is always round.

I want a saddle that I can use on both of them. I don't want it to be TOO heavy. I would prefer it NOT be synthetic. Has to be Western. I want to use it on the trail. I would also like it to be affordable. Not thrown-together-cheap, but affordable.

So who has recommendations?

Dakota is a nice brand, and I personally had trail pleasure by Alamo I really liked (leather and under 30 lbs, still looked like new when I switched to English so I had no problem selling it).

There is another brand that I've heard to be very good and somewhat customized (iridehorses and smrobs have their saddles), but I completely forgot the name. Hopefully either of them will post it here. :)

First, finding a saddle that fits both might be a challenge, but maybe not depending on their build.

As KV said smrobs has a Corriente which are great. But from what she says they only come in FQ bars. What Pasos I have been around, they are a little on the narrow side, unless the Appy part fixed that?
I like Corriente saddles too.

Try Colorado Saddlery too. I forgot about them intil someone recently brought them up on here. They used to be good saddles and from what someone else said, they still are.

Not sure what your price range is, but I would stay away from all the new India and Pakistan made junk on ebay. Save your pennies for a quality used, they are out there.

Yes, thank you. I had a blind moment: tried to remember the name and had no success.
