Any Size 8 Helmets Out There?

When I was a kid I never wore helmets for anything but I'm older and have had a couple of concussions so I guess some sense was knocked into me.

The problem is I have a large head - size 8? Troxel doesn't even go over 7 5/8 or 3/4. Owens makes some larger but nobody seems to stock them. I ride western and ideally I could find without that English point. I'd also like one in something lighter than black since Colorado summer sun can be hot. Of course, beggars can't be choosy and I'll settle for one I don't have to hammer onto my head. I'm hoping some dealers follow this forum. I've emailed a bunch without much luck.

It's not totally urgent. My husband horse is arriving October 20th and its going to take a while for us to get to know each other before I ride him.

Do you have a orcheln's farm store near you? I know that they carry ridding helmets

Thanks. I have an Owen GR8 on order. Unfortunately, its black on black but it will fit.

Kansas, Thanks for the suggestion but they're not in Colorado. My wife suggests we just have our paychecks deposited at Murdoch's.

The proper with most stores is that they stock the common sizes. I've had this issue my whole life with long arms, big feet & such. The internet is wonderful since I can find clothing that fits.
