Post Anyone know anything about this saddle?

This is a saddle my friend is letting me might be old cause she hasn't used it in a long time. It says BTCrump, Prix De Saute. Made in England. Its a really nice quality saddle, just wondering if anyone knew more information about it or what the price of it would be. Thanks!

Here's some pics.

"Prix de Saute" is French for "Jumping prize/reward"

This is all I could find about this saddle

Yes but it was all I found about it. I don't think they make/sell this saddle anymore.

I pretty positive they don't make this saddle anymore.

Me too but I think that in its day it was a top quality saddle.
Its modern equivalents are going for $1995.00+

Green Broke
Older Crumps are good saddles. I'd price it in the $200-300 range for it's condition and style.

I agree. My daughter did lessons in one for a year. She wouldn't ride in any other saddle there because she said it was the most comfortable. Before I bought hers, I did all the research & the ones from england were all reported to be far superior. I read some company in CA eventually bought the name & the quality went down. The one I got her is from England too. She loves it. Hers doesn't have the larger knee pad, just pencil rolls. Anyway, everyone at the barn wants to borrow her saddle.

If you get that saddle for a dime less than $300 it's a steal. It looks in great shape, and it doesn't look as old as the one we got. I hope you get it.
