Anyone tried a cordura Circle Y?

I love my Circle Y Park and Trail but it is SO heavy. I am having trouble with one of my shoulders and I found a Circle Y part leather part cordura saddle online. If you have tried one did you like it? Do you think it fits the same as a traditional Circle Y for both horse and rider? Let me know.

Big Horn makes a leather/cordura saddle that's comparable to the CircleY except it's somewhat cheaper to purchase. The quality is the same. Circle Y uses the same tree in both saddles but you need to inquire if it's the same as what you have.

It should be the same as it is a Park and Trail also. The gullet measures the same also. Do you know which Big Horn model it is so I can check it out? Thanks for your advice!

Im going to second a Big Horn cordura over the Circle Y. I've rode in both and the Circle Y seemed cheaper made and didnt fit as well as the Big Horns I've rode in...and I have rode in ALOT of cordura brand saddles as I worked at a riding stables that only used cordura saddles and would buy and sell horses and tack so alot came through the place over the years I was there. Big Horns followed by Fabtrons are my favs.
