So we've got a new horse, looking for a saddle, and have now decided that our 2-horse trailer is too small. (The list just never ends
). We tried to go cross-country schooling last week with all 3 geldings, and had to make two trips, which was very messy and time-consuming, so we are looking to trade our white 2003 CM 7' 2-horse bp trailer for a bumper pull 3-horse. We are willing to travel around within Colorado, and possibly pay a small amount extra for a 3-horse, but we don't have a lot of money to spare so we would prefer to just trade. Is anyone out there looking to downsize? It is a very nice trailer...straight-load style; thick black padding all around with no tears; mangers; padded divider; rubber mats over a still-new pressure-treated wooden floor; butt bars with 2 adjustments for different sized horses; and a tack room with grooming tool bins, blanket bars, slide-out saddle racks and bridle hooks. It also has two good-sized escape doors, also padded on the inside, with a step on the outside for convenience. It is a step-up trailer (no slippery ramp to worry about) and has a thick rubber piece on the back so the horses don't scrape their fetlocks and cannon bones while unloading.
We just have a few requirements for a 3-horse, and those are: must be in good condition with minimal rust, have a tack/dressing room with at least 3 saddle racks, and be padded on the inside. Also must be at least 7 feet tall and we prefer that it's fully enclosed.
If anyone in our area is looking to trade or know of someone who is, please let me know! At this time we are not interested in selling our trailer, just a trade.
