Aussie Saddles??

I saw and sat on a very comfy Australian Saddle at the tack store today. Does anyone have one?? If so what do you think of it?. And this is a dumb question....Ive never used a saddle that had a rear cinch on it...how snug should it be compared to the front one?

I have a Kimberly saddle. I really like it for trail riding. The Aussie girth system took me a while to get used to and I had to get a girth with rollers as the one that came with the saddle took more arm muscle to tighten.

There was just another thread like this lol
I just bought one & am liking it so far. I did buy girth converters, however, as i'm not a fan of the english-style girths. Maybe i'm just a whimp & can't get it tight enough lmao!

I own two, both from Down Under. I really like the design. I'd love to own an Australian made saddle, but they are out of my price range ($2500+ new).

There is no purpose to a rear cinch on an Australian stock saddle. Their value is on roping saddles, or full rigged western saddle. I'd guess my australian saddles are around 5/8ths rigging.

This. I've almost much never seen a stock saddle with a rear cinch.
