australian stirrups

Does anyone know if you can buy just the stirrups for an australian saddle? Mine are about 2 inches too long and cannot be shortened any more.

Stirrups or the stirrup leathers? You could probably take your leathers to a tack/shoe repair place and have them cut down so that they will adjust smaller.

Sorry, I did mean the stirrup leathers. That sounds like a great idea. Thank you. I'll have to see if there are any tack repair places around. I really didn't want to buy new ones as these match the saddle.

Kates seems to be calling it quits. They still are getting rid of their stirrup leathers - $30. I have a set, and there is no difference in quality between the ones I bought at Kates and the ones I have from DownUnder. I may buy again at Kates and leave them in the closet for future use...
