    Bareback Pad Suggestions?

Hey all, I'm looking for a bareback pad. One that is a decent enough quality that it stands up to riding, but at the same time doesn't cost me a small fortune, as I still am on a budget I've tried riding with nothing whatsoever, but my TB has those sharkfin withers and I just about broke my pelvis when I got into a trot . So the additional padding would be of comfort to both of us, lol . I'm also in Canada, specifically Southern Ontario. Thanks in advance!

I have this one here, paid about 52 + tax for it and I really like it :) Also didn't like to ride my mare bareback because it was hurting when trotting or cantering, especially when asking for the halt lol
I like to ride in this pad, the top is suede so you don't slip as much as when sitting directly on the horse :) Great pad for price, you can get some that are anti slip in neoprene but they cost a bit more...

Also really like the little handle on top, it can be very handy at times! But the best thing about it, it's contoured so this would be perfect for those sharkfin withers ;)

    Hope this helps!!

I bought it at my coop local store and they got it through western rawhide. Im sure you can get it through your local tack shop easily or ebay. I saw it on jeffersequine.com as well if you ever order through usa

I'll have to take a look when I go buy wormers tomorrow. Hopefully they have it or something similar! Before I joined the forum, while I was still a guest lurking around, I saw that there was a user on here that made custom ones. Does she still make them? Cause I remember they were pretty old threads.

Just thought I'd give a little update! I was wandering through the tack shop, derping around as per usual, when I saw that they sold bareback pads! So I bought a nice English/western crossover style Navajo one, and I'm over the moon. Tried it out tonight, super comfy, but I can still feel his muscles underneath me :) Very impressed :)
