barrel racing stirrups

Currently I have big and bulky stirrups. I hate them and when running barrels I have a hard time keeping my feet in them.

What is everyones favorite barrel racing stirrups? Feel free to post links ;)

I had always just used the plain ol' rawhide stirrups, like these.

Then I bought a new saddle that had aluminum stirrups with a grip pad:

LOVE THEM! Never going back to rawhide. Actually changed out the stirrups on my other saddle so they would have the same ones.

(However, you do have to be mindful of your own shins when you are carrying your saddle. The aluminum hurts!)

It is not enough to know how to ride; one must know how to fall.
