Best birthday ever!

Hello, all! Yesterday was my 17th birthday, and I must say, it was quite awesome. My absolutely wonderful boyfriend of almost two years loaded me up with all of the things I needed. He bought me an Ovation helmet, some Tuffrider schooling breeches, a pair of synthetic tall boots, boot socks, riding gloves, a wither pad..... Also, after browsing my Dover catalog, he decided that I HAD to ride in Polo shirts to complete the look, so he got me a couple of those, too. :) He totally spoiled me. Also, my mom is waiting for her next pay check to buy me a little rinky-dink saddle so I can use one that fits to start Sunny this summer. Also, even though it's not horsie-related, he made me the most DELICIOUS red velvet cupcakes! And my mom took me out to eat, and the people sang to me. XD I just thought i'd share my awesome birthday! And to make this a more meaningful thread, what's the best horsie present you guys have ever gotten?

Sounds like you had quite the birthday! Happy belated!! (Are my cupcakes in the mail?)
My favorite horsey gift, besides the fact that two of my horses have BEEN the gift, is probably my boyfriend's present this year. I got full chaps in full grain brown leather, new paddock boots, and a brushed calfskin halter with engraved plates :)

Well, for my 16th birthday my parents bought me my first horse...that was crazy exciting. Fast forward many years, and I just received a brand new, aluminum horse trailer from my husband....a wonderful gift.

As long as it's horse related, it's all good with Happy belated birthday....enjoy your new things.

I would kill to get a trailer for my birthday. Haha. I got my first horse as a birthday present when I was 13. I bought Sunny myself. XP
