best tack brand suggestions / poll?

I'm still working on my new tack shop and would appreciate a critique of the site as well as suggestion on favorite leather brands.

I like your site, it's easy to navigate! Looks like you could use a wider variety of products in each category (example: you only carry one bridle brand). But I'm guessing that's why you're asking here what leather brands we prefer!

One other thing I look for a lot in new websites for tack is a SALE or CLEARANCE section. I'm always looking for a deal!! I like the Featured Products on your main page, but it looks like they are just regular price. A deal on the front page may get a buyer...and then we'll want to buy a few other things to save on shipping! =) (PS-I'd also like to see a shipping fees chart on your Shipping & Return Policy page)

For your other question...Favorite Brands:

Arc de Triomphe (strap goods)
Stubben (stirrup leathers)
Pessoa (saddles)
Tory Leather (halters)

I agree with the poster above completely. If you had a better selection and a clearance section more buyers would be interested in your site. It is very well put together and neat which is hard to find these days.

Here are some of my favorite brands...
- Eskadron (horse boots)
- Ariat (riding boots and chaps)
- SSG (riding gloves)
- Pessoa (saddles, stirrups leathers, etc)
- Wellington (bridles)
- Circuit (girths, bridles, etc)
- Mane N' Tail (shampoo, conditioner, etc)
- Absorbine (show sheen, etc)
- Winner's Circle (brushes)

Also, I would add some more first aid items too. For example: triple antibiotic ointment, betadine, vetrap, bandages, etc.

I suggest cruising other online tack stores to give you some ideas as to what it is you want to carry. Will bring up more ideas than what any of us could give you :)
