Best and Worst Bridles?

I need some ideas on a new snaffle hunter bridle, say under $150.

List your faves and not so faves.

Some brands I've seen at this price point...

Dover's "Crown" line
Camelot
Some Bobby's
Smartpak's "Plymouth" line
Smartpak's "Harwich" line
Collegiate
Ovation

I like the HDR bridle but I hate the HDR reins. They do something funky on the flat ends.

I vote for Bobby's!! Everyone one I have rode with/owned has been really, really great and the leather is supple after a few uses.

I'd go with Collegiate or Ovation. I checked both in Dover store when I was looking for one and they felt nice on touch.

Mondega, Shedrow, Supra, and Connemara are really bad products because they're all made by Greenhawk. Tack stores should be tack stores and saddlers should be saddlers - it's when that line starts to blur that cheap, bad quality things become turned out. Dover is starting to get their line right, I hear, but it'll be years before Mondega is worth buying.
