Bitless, Bosal, Hackmore, Sidepull....

I am looking for a bitless rigup to train my youngster in. I have a side-pull and a couple hackmore bridles with shanks, but his GIANT warmblood head does not fit in anything. I don't want to use shanks on him right now, so I want something like a side-pull, bosal or indian hackamore. I like the western type training bridles, but when I look around I can't find anything big enough. He doesn't fit in a regular horse size in western stuff (western and english people have an ENTIRELY different opinion about what size an average horse is) I like the rawhide nosebands. Does anyone know where I can get a draft or warmblood size bitless like this, or maybe custom order one?

Have you considered a cross-under style bitless? I have a Nurtural brand bridle and really like it. Their Biothane and Nylon bridles are affordable and come in sizes from mini to draft. You might want to check those out.

Otherwise, you might want to google "Draft Tack" and see if you can find any draft specific web sites. They might have side pulls available.
