Seriously? A good 50% of the riders in my region rode in bitless or S hacks.

At home, most of us will ride in an S-hack or english hackamore, im taking for races. Im the newest rider to our little 'team', and they are usually just simple snaffles, some use kimberwicks. :P

I see what you guys mean. Im wondering if I ought to pony up and buy a cheap one! Haha.

HORSE BITLESS BRIDLE ROPE HACKAMORE BOSAL BLACK/PURPLE - eBay (item 370203418366 end time Jun-17-09 15:27:26 PDT)
Anyone have experence with these? Im just curious

The one I found on ebay last night for very cheap is gone way up in price litterally overnight! I see these are very hot.

And don't worry, Vida, that makes some sense in my tiny brain, too! Lol!

I have the same problem with my 19 year old QH mare (One time I tried to put a bit in her mouth and she tore a piece of wood and a metal bar off). She is usually a good horse......yea right.I can't even put a halter on her in the pasture!, and on a young horse I would use a hackmore, then when she gets older try a real bit
