Another question : is a turnout blanket pretty much the same as a cooler? There is a very nice one at our tack store for $275.
Also, I am wondering.. what size would my mare (hopefully) be, she is about 15hh, medium built qh.
I was thinking maybe 74inch?

Thank!
You should measure her to make sure, but my 14.1hh medium built QH is a 74, so I'm guessing a 15hh would be a larger size...but it really does depend on the horse's build/shape! Measuring's the safest way!

my horse is 14.3 & stocky-ish and wears a 76. I would guess that's what your horse would use as well.

please measure!

My 16 hand TB wears a 78 and my 15 hand QH wears anything from a 74-76 ... so please measure!

Thanks guys! How exactly do you measure?
Do you use a measuring tape and measure from chest to tail?
I'm thinking somewhere around 76inch :)
Thanks!

Go to this link and click on the size chart on the right middle side of the page and it will explain to you how to measure and what the measurement means
