Bosals and measurements

Hello,

I have a colt that I intend to start early next year.

I am hoping to buy a bosal to start him in,......... but I am unsure as to which size would be suitable for him. He is a cob type, and I intend to use the bosal once he is fully grown too, and he should reach 15h.

Also.....what kind of weight and leverage would anyone reccomend?

I have looked into this and have found there are so many different weights and leverages, but I want to get it right as they are fairly expensive.

If you're having it custom made then you can ask the maker what they recommend. When you put on the mecate you can take up some space by how you tie it on.
