Bought a used saddle. Help on makers mark!

The Saddle has a metal tooled plate that says southern R.E. Is that a southern trails saddle that's been rebalanced? Also I traded for a used roping saddle that is made of quality leather but I can not find a makers mark.? Thanks in advance!;)

Nope, not my Saddle.

I have heard the name before, I think they were out of Chattanooga and out of business, I get calls asking about them from time to time, but have never pinned them down as who they are for sure.

The ones I have seen looked like a decent Saddle

Thank you very much! I guess I will have to continue researching. The trail runs cold after a while of hunting them down so idk. Thanks again and have a great day:)
