Brahma Saddle

This is for Nokotaheaven..

A couple more pictures of the saddle. We bought it around 10 years ago, they told us it was 20 plus years old then. So it's around 30 years old, fits most horses.

You can see the Brahma stamp on the fender if you look closely.

They were/are made by Tex Tan. Good saddles. Kenways in Calgary sold them until Kenways demise.

Thanks! We paid around $200 for it. It's a 15" seat. Sadly, just a tad too small for me.

Wow that's a nice saddle!
Here is mine. Btw, the brand on the leg is a W and overtop the W it says 'Western Saddlery', there's more under the W but it's too faded to read... If anyone can tell me any info on this saddle or the brand it would be much appreciated :)
It is estimated to be about 30-40yrs old. It is also a roping saddle, seat is about 16 inches

Haha thank you, it is :)
Even though it's a roping saddle it is perfect as a western pleasure/trail saddle, and it's like riding on a couch.
I wish I could find some history on it though... I looked up the brand and found one exactly like it, so I contacted the person. He said he didn't make the saddle (even tho the brand was exactly like his and on his page it basically said his company was a family thing)... And he didn't help me :/

Hey GallopingGuitarist, is that palomino one you currently own? I ask because it looks scarily similar to a mare that I used to ride out at my RI's barn.

Sorry for going off topic.

I sold her in 2007 to a fellow named Bret Callum out by Bredenbury/Saltcoats Saskatchewan. Her name was Sarah. Around 15 hands, grade. Brand, 0 over 7 on her left shoulder.
