DA, I love my barn. Small facility (about 30 horses, maybe less), but just amazing owners. They didn't do the show series last year because the year before there wasn't enough interest in it, but they decided to do it this year because they literally had people begging them to. Each class had at least two people in it, and some of the western classes (much bigger around here than English is) had ten.

Jayknee, I'll have to see if I can get over to CV. I'm fine with payments, I just didn't know they'd do that.

You can also get a brand new Corriente directly from the company for around $700 and pick whatever style and options you want. The only drawback is that you can't try it on the horse first (they are all FQHB).

But they say they will take returns if it doesn't fit your horse and you don't ride in it. You will be out shipping if you have to return it though.

But anyway, I bought a 17" Wade from Corriente and had it in about a month and I'm very happy with it! If anything it is a tad wide for my horses, but they are not part draft. If you want to see it, my post is a few links down in the saddle fitting section.

Ok. Checked the Corrientes site and I really like the looks of some of their saddles (especially their ropers), but how do you tell how much they are?

Yep Cowboy Corner does payments! 20% down and you typically have 3 months to pay it off. Although Paul will let it go longer if he( read I!) don't have to harass ya for the monthly payments! I hate having to call and remind people to pay their bill, LOL!

One more thing, if you talk to Paul he could take it up to the Prescott store! It would be closer to you so that you could try it out!

Paul is Doug's brother, yes? I've met him before.

Do you, by chance, know what model that Corriente saddle is or have a pic of it? I found a couple I love on their website and emailed about price quotes on them.

You have to call them. But when I was picking out my Wade they said all the saddles on that page were $710 delivered, unless it was fully tooled, those were $100 more. But they don't seem to be out to nickle and dime you on small changes like other places might.

Also, check out their bargain saddle page. They always seem to have new additions every few days in different styles and seat sizes. It will also give you an idea of what different saddles might cost.

I emailed them yesterday (I was at work, so couldn't call). I asked about pricing on the CSR 103 and the CSR111. Both are on this page: https://corrientesaddleco.com/ROPERS.php

The CSR103 is $875. The CSR111 is $825. Not bad, really.

I looked at the bargain saddles first and, while I liked the design of a couple of them, I didn't like the color. Also, they didn't have any that were a 17" seat (one 18" roper, one 16" roper, and one 14.5" barrel saddle).

Paul is the father not the brother, LOL! I don't have the model number or a picture with me. I could get a pic and model number this weekend when I next work! It's going to be a long weekend, My new saddle arrives today! Finally something that will fit my mare.

If you could get me that model number and pic this weekend, that would be great.
