Breakaway Stirrups

I'd deffinitely invest in some.
I use them and hate using anything else.
This is due to a friend who fell off at full gallop and was dragged along.
He broke several of his bones.. really nasty accident that could have been avoided!

I used peacocks for years, and never had an issue with the bands popping off. Only replaced them when they were old and worn. I have now gone to the flex stirrups, tho, and LOVE them. I also think they are nicer looking. I know nothing about western breakaways.
