Which breast collar?

Okay, so I was bored online and just snooping around online ads and found a breast collar that I liked, then someone posted another link for one in the "Where to find teal?" thread. When I was looking at it, there was a purple one available. Which one do I want?

1. The first one I found is a Billy Cook that looks like this, but in a darker oil.Billy Cook Basket Stamped Roper Breast Strap bcbi12911 It's about a half hour away, and $35.

2. These are the ones that were posted in the other thread. There is no picture of the purple one and it's not listed in the description, but you can buy it under colour choices. I called and made sure it actually existed and wasn't a fluke. Tack Wholesale.com : Quality Horse Tack & Horse Supplies - Image Closeup

The pictures I'll post are of my saddle and my other purple tack. The Billy Cook one should match the leather on my saddle decently, but the other one is purple ostrich like the seat of my saddle. Would the purple breast collar be TOO much purple? I'm perfectly fine with being loud and obnoxious with tack. I am as a person anyway.

The picture of Abby with the tack is terrible because it was with my old phone (I got a new one with a nicer camera a couple days ago. ) and it was under fluorescent lights. She's the buckskin in my avatar if that's any indicator of how off the colour is. Every thing she's wearing is bright purple.

Well as a fan of BC and not so much Tahoe and not much into color on breast collars, I vote for the BC. I have that exact BC breast collar myself :)

Billy Cook tack is usually very nice. I don't know about the 2nd brand though.

I knew Billy Cook tack was nice. The previous owner of Abby has a really nice Billy Cook saddle she would have sold me if I could afford it. It was extremely comfortable to ride in. I haven't heard of the second brand, the the reviews for it said it was pretty good quality.

I like BC tack however I LOVE bright colours. I enjoy having fun with my tack and colours, my vote is for the purple one! :) I might have to look into the green or blue one for my horse!

I know! When I got that new pad, I said she was going to be more purple than buckskin.. Haha. I showed my friend them and she said I needed a happy medium because the purple one is like BAMPURPLE! While the other is just plain.

Another friend though said I needed more plain leather tack. Um, excuse me. The fanciest thing on my bridle is the futurity knot on the browband, thank you very much. Haha.

If it was my choice, I would likely go for the BC. But then again, I am not a big fan of flashy tack LOL.

The tahoe doesn't appear to be poor quality, though it may not be the best. I find it odd that they offer for sale the only 2 colors that they don't have pictured though LOL. Just because I was curious, I started looking around and I am willing to bet that the purple on the breast collar would match the purple on this saddle since they are both from the same company.

That seems likely, if they are the same company. My saddle isn't THAT bright, but my pad is. It's a Reinsman microsuede one. Okay. I lied. I looked up a picture of my saddle online and it's pretty close.

Bah. I wish my ADHD did not hinder my ability to make pretty simple decisionssss. Ack.

Haha! I was the one who posted the second breast collar.

I understand the purple craze. It's my color too. I wish I had a use for that breast collar, as it would be mine within seconds because it's soo bright. I also have the same saddle pad as you and I think it would match well to it. Also, sometimes it's good to get something a little bit "too bright" it stands out and you get tons of compliments on it. I definitely think you should go with the second one, as it's going to be very vibrant and I think you will be happy with the brightness and just how much it stands out-especially against that buckskin.
