Breast collar converted into pulling collar?

I have a beautiful breast collar for my horse, but it's way too small for him. I was looking for ways to still use it (I really would prefer to keep it) without making the horse uncomfortable. When I was reading various forum sites, the "pulling collar" kept coming up. The more I read on those, the more I really wanted one. I told this to my dad, and he said you could use a breast collar as a pulling collar, and I can't visualize it.

Is it possible to use a breast collar as a pulling collar? If so, how would I go about doing it?

I'm all up for advice and/or theories on this!

Yes, it is entirely possible. I actually did it with one of my older BCs. Instead of re-typing all that stuff again, I hope you don't mind if I link to the other thread that discussed it in depth.

Opinions about breast/pulling collars please

Someday, if you are interested in buying a true pulling collar, this is where I get all mine. They are about half the price of other sellers but the quality is still there. I have 2 made by the same company, one of which I bought recently from this seller, and one of which I've been using for heavy duty ranch work for about 2 years and you can't even tell it's been used other than it's dirty.
