Do you mean a breast plate? If so, attach bailers twine, short leather straps, or clips from the collar to the D-rings. We do that with the harness horses if their buxton's aren't long enough.

Yep, either that or buy a new one... getting longer leather straps will be chaper though.

I took it back where I bought it from and they showed me that one is pretty the size they carry (mine was even a little bigger then some) they suggested rigging up an extension even a small nylon dog collar on each side for length.

How big is your horse?!

I use the same breast collar on a 950lb Arab and an 1,100lb QH with plenty of room to use on a larger horse.

I'm surprised you don't have more adjustment in the straps. Can you punch holes to make them longer?

Thats kinda what I am wondering. Do you ride western or english and what breed is your horse? Most tack comes in standard sizes that should fit the average size horse 800lbs to 1200 lbs. They will fit bigger if you punch more holes and will also fit smaller with more holes.

I'm confused.
