    Smile bridles

    I was wondering if anyone new of what type of bridle to get for my Shetlands. I only want it for light work and out on hacks and nothing to expensive

    Welcome to the forum.

    Regardless whether it is English or Western, keep is as simple as possible. As long as your ponies are trained, they should be able to go in a snaffle and as simple a headstall as you can find. I would avoid the Asian made leather due to the lack of quality of the leather. Hopefully there are some good quality used ones where you are.

    BTW, you didn't say where you are - that could make a difference in what is available.

    Well I am starting to train them so they aren't actually broke yet because there only 3 and 4 years old also im in england and don't do any western riding

    Also they are only doing light work as will soon be trained to drive
    Hope this extra info is helpful but im not much of a horsey expert myself
