If they're still in good condition, then being broken in isn't a bad thing. It'll mean they won't be stiff when you get them, so they might be more comfy right away.
Haha, you're lucky. :P I got new boots about 2-3wks ago, & I didn't start to break them in until the last minute...like a day or two before my show! Haha, it hurt. But yeah, as long as they fit, you're good! :)
Awesome! Thanks everyone. I'm so used to boots being nicer broken in, but with horse stuff tending to be completely out of the norm, I was expecting stiff boots to be good.
Anyhow, I can't wait to try them. I just got half chaps and they're too tall :(
I disagree with everyone here! When you break in a boot, it conforms to your foot, and if this boot is already conformed to someone elses foot and leg, it could be uncofertable for you.
I will find out this weekend if they fit. I hope so. My boots now go halfway up my calf, and my only half chaps are too tall. So I really hope these fit.
