Buying tack in other countries

I will be traveling to Portugal and of corse have been looking up tack shops online.
I love the look of some of the saddles. Would it be worth it to buy a saddle and tack while there? Im living in europe and everything is much more expensive, can't much get around it so that's not an issue. Another fact is I wont be getting a horse untill after we return. I do know it will be an Icelandic.

I would because I love Iberian tack...but I have a horse and know what I need. If I didn't have a horse, I wouldn't be buying tack, especially not a saddle.

Icelandic horses have special tack due to the fact they are gaited. If you are importing the horse I would look at getting tack before the horse leaves, or finding someone who can properly fit the tack. They need extra shoulder room to be able to gait.
