    Can I...? (Stirrups/leathers question)

So, I haven't found a pair of stirrups for my Aussie saddle that I actually like. I've tried endurance stirrups (braced against them horribly!), a pair of Circle Y trail stirrups (came off my best friend's Circle Y Park and Trail...everyone hated those stirrups lol), and the pair I have now, which are plastic with a 2" wide tread (I think that's the right word). Part of the problem I'm coming up against is that the neck is too wide for my leathers and the stirrups turn funky, which makes my knees and ankles hurt.

I have found a pair of stirrups that I would love to try. I have a friend who has them on her Muster Master and she won't ride in anything else. They're the extra wide safety oxbows: I would love to find those stirrups, just cheaper. Lol

Anyway, until I can afford those stirrups I want, would it be feasible to switch the leathers and irons from my English (Stubben) saddle to my Aussie saddle for the time being?
